Hempstead, Essex : ウィキペディア英語版 | Hempstead, Essex Hempstead is a village near Saffron Walden, in Essex. The population of the parish at the 2011 census was 451.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Parish population 2011 )〕 It is situated on the B1054 road between Saffron Walden and Steeple Bumpstead. The village is the birthplace of Dick Turpin, and the burial place of William Harvey, who discovered the circulation of blood.
